"Zhui" in Minsk. Chamber space, materials with history and a very special atmosphere.
The layout of a small space is simply as possible - an open kitchen , various types of seatings by the window and along the wall. At the entrance there is a harmoniously fitted wardrobe. Logical and convenient.
The main highlight of this cafe is the decoration of the walls and ceiling with unique metal tiles. You might think that it was made specifically for "Zhui". But in fact, everything is much more interesting.

The most interesting thing in the interior of "Zhui" - is the metal tiles that decorate the walls and ceiling . And even more interesting that it appeared in the process, when the implementation was already moving towards completion.
The owner of the restaurant accidentally saw these panels on the ceiling in the building of one of the old factories in Minsk. Saw - and fell in love.
A bit of magic, a lot of bureaucracy - and now 270kg of half-century-old tiles are already carefully washed for installation in the new Zhui.
The work of restoring and laying out the panels was incredibly painstaking. Many panels differed in size, curvature and degree of damage.

But in the end, everything worked out as organically as possible. Unique author's cuisine. Dishes, as if from a grandmother's sideboard. And the mesmerizing shimmer of metal from the corridors that Harvey Lee Oswald once walked.
